About Professional Life
Since 2000 I have taken a keen interest in internet technologies when I began creating websites for friends and family during my time at college. Using a trial and error method I quickly mastered HTML and using my existing graphics skills and eye for detail I began developing the foundations to my career.
With college studies in 2001 I started working for a small local web design company (AVI Digital Studio also named as Pioneer Soft). During my time there I created many entertainment web site for Pakistan Film Industry (developed and managed the sites).
The sites were enormous success, in August 2002 I received a job offer from Solincs / Imanagers wanted an in-house designer to create graphical elements for their e-commerce solutions.
In November 2003 I was made redundant from my position at Solincs / Imanagers and I began working for a newly started company called Media Next. During my time with the company I worked as an graphic consultant and web designer, creating the company's brand identity, advertising campaigns, website and Real Estate Magazine being among my tasks.
In March 2004 I took the position of Web Designer/Developer at Ameer Soft International. My main role was to manage the design and development of their client’s web sites working closely with the development team.
In April 2005 I went to UK for my Post Graduation Studies. There I worked part time on Student Status with my studies. In June 2005 I joined as a part time IT lecturer at Westech College (UK) based in Plaistow. In August 2005 I got offer as a graphic designer / web developer from the same college (CECOS London College) where I studies. I joined them as part time, as I was good in studies so i also got Scholarship from there.
In November 2005 I did complimentary work for Whipps Cross University Hospital - NHS Trust (UK) as Graphic Designer on request of one of my very best friend Dr.Waqar Gaba and his consultant to design the translated brochures in Urdu language for patients over there.
In Jan 2006 I completed my studies and returned back to home and joined East West Systems/ WebX Networks as Senior PHP Web Developer/ Graphic Designer in Feb 2006. My main role was to manage the design and development of web sites and to give client support. I also provided consultation services for the development of web based CRM projects and was heavily involved in a projects. Also giving media designing services to US partner company "NCS Technologies" and Australian partner company "Limelight Galaxy".
In April 2008 I started my own small IT company named as "Kasb Systems" providing graphic design, web design n development and hosting services to different small/medium sized companies.
In June 2008 I joined International Turnkey Systems (ITS Pakistan) as Analyst Programmer, here my duties are Gathering Requirements, Brand development, Working on Screen Designs, Proposed Solutions, HTML, Presentations. All sort of GUI stuff related to Software Designing and Flex Development for Dashboard.
